This has nothing to do with classes, which are going pretty well, but I (along with my best friend, Lauren) got skateboards. She got a longboard while I got a cruiser. The face of mine is CORK. Awesome, right?
This is where we practiced today; in one of the garages at UC. I can now pretty successfully go forwards and do rough kick turns.
Anyone out there have some tips for this newbie?
We got them primarily for transportation, since they are easier to carry around than a bike (although you really cannot go up hills.. And the braking system is also much different.)
I’m averaging one fall a day, ooh. I actually fell twice today. One and a half falls a day then. As long as I don’t break anything (material goods included), falling is not bad.
